Amedeo Tommasi, one of Italy's leading composers and jazz pianists. Widely known for his participation in “Chet Is Back!” as a member of the Chet Baker Sextet, he has worked primarily on film scores since the late 60s alongside Ennio Morricone and Pupi Avati, while also leaving behind numerous masterful library works. This library piece is considered one of his most distinctive works, released in 1980. It features a collection of tracks revealing different facets of his artistry from dark minimal electronics to psychedelic grooves and unusual synth tracks. Particularly outstanding are “Attimo Tragico - 2 Version,” “Strategia Della Tensione,” “Attentato - 2 Version,” and “Psicosi Oggi”. Insane and incredible!
イタリアを代表する作曲家/ジャズピアニストAmedeo Tommasi。Chet Baker Sextetの一員として参加した”Chet Is Back!”で広く知られ、60年後半頃からはEnnio MorriconeやPupi Avatiらと共に映画音楽を中心に活動しながら数多くの傑作ライブラリー作品を残しています。本作はその中でも異色と言われる80年の作品。タイトルからは想像できないダーク・ミニマル・エレクトロニクスからサイケ・グルーヴ、一風変わったシンセ・トラックまで彼の違った側面が垣間見えるようなトラック群を全編で収録。中でも”Attimo Tragico - 2 Version”, "Strategia Della Tensione", "Attentato - 2 Version", "Psicosi Oggi"は出色。これは凄い。
