Argentinian bassist Alfredo Remus, who has been involved since the early days of jazz scene in the 1950s and has been a regular in a series of informal improvisational performances and experimental gatherings held at Eduardo Lagos' house, and who has also made great achievements in the folklore scene. This album is a trio recording released in 1970, featuring Jorge Anders and Nestor Astarita. It features a relaxed atmosphere, yet maintains a mature groove with well-balanced tempo changes throughout, alongside the interplay with his longtime music partner Jorge Anders, and Nestor Astarita who reportedly joined the group at the last minute but also delivers a very steady performance. "My Little Monica" where musicians groove seamlessly while clearly aware of each other's presence, and "Pendulo," with intriguing scales, are particularly outstanding. While there is some background noise especially in the quieter sections, but believe still enjoylable. It's almost a full recording, so please give it a listen.
