Guitarist/composer Albert Gimenez, who released numerous masterpieces on his own label alongside his work with groups like Macromassa and Naif, hails from Catalonia, a region of Spain with a distinctive musical culture all its own. This album, released in 1983, marks his third solo effort. It features a total of 12 tracks, ranging from emotive acoustic guitar solos rooted in flamenco to collaborations with local fellow musicians such as Conrad Seto, Eduard Altaba, and Enric Cervera including immersive pieces "Java" and "Bolero". The soundscapes unfold, drawing inspiration from various corners of the world.
