This 1980 release features a variety of great tracks, side A focuses on danceable numbers, including obscure one “Pa Mamã” accented by percussion, and the intriguing “Cabral 1924-1973” which suddenly drops in pitch, recommended side B centers on medium-tempo tracks reminiscent of Morna, the nostalgic music of Cape Verde. Impresive.
