Abel Lima, a singer and composer from Cape Verde, released a body of work through his own label in the 1970s and 1980s that continues garner to a strong following today. This 1980 release features a variety of great tracks, side A focuses on danceable numbers, including obscure one “Pa Mamã” accented by percussion, and the intriguing “Cabral 1924-1973” which suddenly drops in pitch, recommended side B centers on medium-tempo tracks reminiscent of Morna, the nostalgic music of Cape Verde. Impresive. In condition close to NM.
70年代から80年代にかけて自身のレーベルより現在も多くの支持を得ている作品群を残したカーボベルデ出身のシンガー/作曲家Abel Lima。この80年作でもパーカッションをアクセントにしたオブスキュアな"Pa Mamã"や急にピッチダウンする面白い”Cabral 1924-1973”をはじめとしたダンサンブル中心のA面、カーボベルデの郷愁音楽として知られるMornaを想わせるミディアム・テンポの楽曲を中心としたB面それぞれグッドチューンを収録。この作品もクオリティ満載。ほぼNMに近いコンディションにて入荷しました。
