Kaoruko Arai, who is said to have been a B-class idol for about two years, changed her style and made a fresh start, but it ended up being this last album in 1983. It's hidden experimental pop work mostly composed by Akira Mitake with new age/wired arrangements. The entire album is worth listening to, including the strange pop "Kaoruko's Summer is Here" the indescribable intro to "Yamato Nadeshiko Haru Sakimasu", "Prologue" and "Epilogue" which are typical of Akira Mitake.

活動期間およそ二年のB級アイドルと言われる新井薫子が作風を変え心機一転を図ったもののラストアルバムに終わってしまった83年作。最大の特徴は再評価が進む一風堂のメンバー見岳章が大半の曲を手掛けたストレンジな味付け。本当に売る気あったのかと思うほどなかなか奇天烈な楽曲満載。ストレンジ・シティ・ポップ”カオルコの夏が来た”、イントロから歌、またイントロとやりたい放題感”大和撫子”春”咲きます”、見岳章全開の”プロローグ”, "エピローグ"など全編面白いです。見岳章による確信犯的仕事。
