A female SSW who seems to have been active mainly in the Kansai area Masako Yamada's private release in 1975. The album is based on the transparent and tasteful vocals, piano of Katsuyuki Itakura who later released a trio work on Johnny's Disk, electric bass/guitar, and also features unique musicians, such as Tetsuya Kaga, known for his releases on the Cult Tengu label. It’s not only in the category of psychedelic folk, the sound in which you can feel a mysterious charm similar to spirituality. In particular, title tune of acid-folk type "Aoi Momiji" with shamisen, the dignified and mellow flavor of "Akai Momiji", classical Japanese feel psychedelic folk "Koto Wo Tazunete", and pure and beautiful vocals of "Hatsukoi No Koro" are impressive. A wonderful private piece that expresses a simple yet profound world.

関西エリアを中心に活動していたと思われる女性SSW やまだまさこの75年の自主制作盤。透明感のある味わい深いヴォーカル、のちにJohnny's Diskからもトリオ作品を発表する板倉克行のピアノ、エレクトリック・ベース/ギターを基にカルトてんぐレーベルからのリリースでも知られる加賀テツヤなど一癖あるミュージシャンも参加。サイケ・フォークと言えばそうなんですが、それだけではないスピリチュアルにも似た不思議な魅力を感じ取れる作品。とりわけ三味線を取り入れたアシッド・フォークのようなタイトル曲”青いもみじ”、凛としたメロウな趣”赤いもみじ”、和クラシカルなサイケ・フォーク”古都を訪ねて”、純情的な美しいヴォーカルが印象的な”初雪の頃”などは秀逸。シンプルながら深遠な世界が表現されている素晴らしい作品。
