A split independent album by Katsuhiko Komukai & ABOUT, who were active in the Kansai area led by keyboardist Katsuhiko Komukai, and the four-piece experimental band Masque. B side of Masque is our recommended, contains 4 experimental tunes that seems to be influenced by German prog, psychedelic, improvisation. Among them, the B2 "Moon Expansion Rate" is a highlight. Apparently there is also a sequel.
キーボード奏者小向勝彦を中心に関西エリアで活動した小向勝彦 & ABOUTと4人組エクスペリメンタル・バンドMasqueによるスプリット自主作品。当店的にはB面のMasqueの楽曲に注目。ジャーマンプログレ、サイケデリック、即興あたりに影響を受けてそうなセンスのいいエクスペリメンタル・サウンド4曲を収録。中でも”月の膨張率”はハイライト。どうやら続編もあるようです。
