Cover 7" of Miki Hirayama's second single "Midsummer's Event" from 1971. The singer is a masked unit of "Yaya", known for "Yomiga No Hausmanukan" in which Yan Tomita and Seiko Itou were involved. The title track arranged by Shiro Sagisu, is an excellent synth-pop tune, and the B-side is another good techno-pop "Futari No Vacance.
平山三紀の71年のセカンドシングル”真夏の出来事”の82年カバーシングル。歌っているのはヤン富田、いとうせいこうが関わった”夜霧のハウスマヌカン”で知られるややの覆面ユニット。アレンジを鷺巣詩郎が手掛けご機嫌なシンセ・ポップ風に仕上げた表題曲が秀逸。B面にはこちらも悪くないテクノポップ風の”二人のバカンス”を収録。
