Masaki Takano, a sound art artist who has worked as a freelance sound planner while also engaging in recording natural sounds since the 1970s and creating works/performances using self-made instruments and ethnic instruments. This work is “Shizukutachi” (Drops), a tape music piece released in 1978, featuring the actual sound of dripping water captured by a microphone and edited. This is said to express variant of minimal music features the endless sound of water. While our store has handled many records featuring water sounds, this piece makes us feel its mysterious magic anew. A sound art work Japan can be proud of. This is a valuable original pressing, but some surface scratches are visible, causing noise (no skips). The added noise might make it sound like a peculiar kind of minimal music, please listen to confirm.
フリーの音響プランナーとして活動するかたわら70年代以降は自然音の録音を取り組み自作音具や民族楽器を用いた制作活動/パフォーマンスを行ってきたサウンドアートアーティスト高野昌昭。本作は78年に発表した水の滴る音の実音をマイクで拾い編集したテープ音楽作品”しずくたち”。延々と水の音が続くミニマル・ミュージックの変種を全編で収録。当店でも水の音の入った楽曲のレコードを数多く扱ってきましたが不思議な魔力を改めて感じてしまいます。日本が誇るサウンド・アート作品。貴重なオリジナル盤ですが盤面擦れが散見しておりノイズが発生します（ジャンプはなし）。ノイズも加わり奇妙なミニマルミュージック風とも言えるかもしれませんが視聴ご確認下さい。
