The first album in 1983 by Angel Rada, an electronic musician born in Cuba and raised in Venezuela. A total of 7 tunes combine nostalgic melodies and electronics that give the feeling of the foreign country-inspired works that have been released since then. The originality of this work can be felt in its initial impulse and rough texture, include A2 "Basheeba" with synth sounds, accented drums, electronic sounds intertwined, abstract electronics A4 "Video Game" with analog melody lines reminiscent of the title, cosmic abstract experimental tune B1"Panico A Las 5 A.M.", new Age Electronics B2 "Mar De La Tristeza" with unique electronic use in the middle, and B3 "Upadesa" in which oriental melodies and electronic sounds intertwine. Amazing.
キューバ生まれベネズエラ育ちの電子音楽家Angel Radaの83年のファーストアルバム。以後リリースされる異郷にインスパイアされた作品を既に感じさせるノスタルジーなメロディとエレクトロニクスから導かれる全7曲。シンセの響き、アクセントの刻むドラム、電子音が絡みあうA2”Basheeba”、アナログなメロディラインが正にタイトルを思わせるアブストラクト・エレクトロニクスA4”Video Game”、宇宙的なエクスペリメンタルサウンドを聞かせるB1”Panico A Las 5 A.M.”、中盤の電子使いがユニークなニューエイジ・エレクトロニクスB2”Mar De La Tristeza”、オリエンタルな旋律と電子音が絡みあうB3”Upadesa”など初期衝動と荒々しい質感を感じ取って頂ける独創的な作品となっています。素晴らしい。表面薄いヘアーライン(B3付近)ある位で綺麗な部類かと思いますが自主盤というのもあるのか少しチリパチする印象です。
