1978 release by Latvian composer Raimonds Pauls with two vocalists. The album contains 11 tracks, ranging from disco to funk to samba, and total usable. Especially the pseudo samba-disco “Egļu Zvanos”, the wired synth funk “Spēles”, and the groovy “Modo” that turns into mutant funk from the beginning, are recommended. Backed by the members of Modo, a big band to which Raimonds Pauls belonged. Hidden good Melodia piece.
ラトヴィアの名コンポーザーRaimonds Paulsが二人のヴォーカリストと共にリリースした78年作。ディスコ～ファンク～サンバまでアレンジの妙が輝く全11曲を収録。どれも使えそうないい内容ですが、とりわけ疑似サンバ・ディスコ調”Egļu Zvanos”、ワイヤードシンセファンク”Spēles”、グルーヴィな序盤からミュータント・ファンクへ変化していく”Modo”はオススメ。バックはRaimonds Paulsが所属していた大所帯バンドModoの面々。知られざる良Melodia盤です。
