Kola Beldy, a singer and mouth harp player from the Nanai ethnic minority group currently found in Russia and China. This is his last album, released in 1989 at the age of 70. It's just intense that it seems to represent his final form, with a collection of extremely dope and strange sounds that combine/strip away psychedelic sensibilities derived from shamanism, bass lines, eccentric performances. The highlights are the opening A1 "Hozjain Lassa", where the hammer beats pound while the sung ritualistic jaw harp clings to you, the psychedelic synth killer A3 "Vozvrachyne Domoy", unique dark wave A5 "Oxford". but other tracks are also amazing, such as B2 "Праздник" where the percussion instruments/mouth harp speak while swirling, and the drone singing B3 "Белый Остров". This is inhabited by the spirit (theon) worshiped by the Nanai tribe. Surprisingly, someone in Japan released it on CD in 1996.
現在はロシアと中国に分布する少数民族ナナイ出身のシンガー/口琴奏者Kola Beldy。本作は御年70歳にしてリリースされた89年のラストアルバム。これがあまりに強烈で、最終形を示すかのようにシャーマニズム由来のサイケデリック感覚、ベースライン、奇抜なパフォーマンスが集約・削ぎ落されたドープ極まりないストレンジ・サウンドの数々。冒頭の儀式のように歌い口琴諸々がまとわりつきながらハンマービートが叩きつけるA1”Хозяин Леса”、サイケデリック・シンセ・キラーA3”Возвращение Домой”、独特すぎるダーク・ウェーヴA5”Охотник”が筆頭ですが、打楽器/口琴が渦巻きながら語りかけるB2”Праздник”、ドローン歌唱B3”Белый Остров”なども全編ヤバいです。これはナナイ族が崇拝したという精霊（セオン）が宿っちゃってます。驚く事に96年に日本でCD化した人がいる模様。奇跡の再入荷。
