Alexey Rybnikov, a legendary Soviet composer who has composed music for numerous stages, operas, and films since the 1970s. This is a collection of sound sources of "The Star and Death of Joaquín Murrieta" which was his breakthrough work and was performed as the first rock opera work in the Soviet Union. An unusual two-disc containing a number of sounds that exude his naked musical sensibilities, including rock, theatrical songs, intense funk, mysterious folk, and drum breaks. D side in particular is impressive and worth listening to. First Original.
