Alexander Gradsky, also known as the “father of Soviet rock,” grew up in a privileged environment where he was allowed access to the West, and while absorbing a variety of music, he aimed to break away from Western music and created his own musical canon. This is 1974 soundtrack that became his signature work. What makes this work special is the dope track at the beginning of B1, where strange electronics, drumming, and stormy sounds intersect, and long track in the middle of side A with low beat and hints of psychedelic, romance, blues. The length is also perfect, making it a great choice for DJs. There are many pressings and this is a repress from 1980.
