A little-known compilation from 1982 that focuses on young musicians who remained at the prestigious Uruguayan label Sondor. It features songs with uniquely Uruguayan indigenous feel by mostly unknown musicians, among them, the most notable is Gonzalo Moreira's "Mentiroso," composed by Jaime Roos and later performed at Repique and La Escuelita. A gem with floating, melancholic feel and percussion, with Mariana Ingold and Estela Magnone also participating in the chorus. Other great songs include subtle folk number "Paso Molino" composed by Fernando Cabrera and the graceful "La Guitarra" arranged by Fernando Yañez. The artwork is also impressive, as if it opens a new door.
