A cassette EP release in 1990 by Leo Maslíah, one of Uruguay's most prodigy known for his works that blend popular music, classical music, jazz, electronic music, etc. Details are unclear, but the soundtrack appears to be a release from Argentina, with Hugo Jasa and Walter Linás composing and Leo Maslíah handling themes and arrangements. All tracks are eccentric, but the bizarre final track “Cartelera Cinematográfica” is especially intense, featuring pulsing electronic sounds followed by female cute vocal and gravelly voice vocal. Also included are the wired tune “Tenedor Libre” featuring continuous murmured vocal, and new wave pop “Ninguna Calle” which sounds relatively normal within this tracks. This is surely a cassette only release that radiates a unique brilliance.
ポピュラー音楽、クラシック、ジャズ、電子音楽等をブレンドした作品群で知られるウルグアイ随一の奇才Leo Maslíahによる90年の4曲入りカセットEP。詳細不明ですがアルゼンチンからのリリースのサウンドトラックと思われるHugo JasaとWalter Linásが作曲を務めテーマや編曲をLeo Maslíahが行っています。どれも風変わりなトラックですがラストに収録のパルスのような電子音から女性とダミ声ヴォーカルによる奇妙な一曲”Cartelera Cinematográfica”が特にヤバい。他にも呟きヴォーカルがずっと続いていくワイヤード感覚”Tenedor Libre”、この中だとまともに聞こえてくるニューウェーヴ・ポップ”Ninguna Calle”を収録。やっぱり異彩を放つカセットオンリーと推測される音源です。
