Two of Uruguay's most important musicians, Hugo Fattoruso and Ruben Rada, teamed up to create this masterpiece in 1991. We guess that the Argentine/Melopea side took the lead in this project, as Litto Nebbia participated in the production. The key word is "Candombé," an Uruguayan root, and show off the strengths of both artists. Hugo Fattoruso's delicate psychedelic/mellow groove and Ruben Rada's percussion are especially featured in the composition. Since there is no record release, it is not well known, but even in the same year's cassette-only release "Hugo Fattoruso, Los Pusilanimes --Que Suerte!", The sharp Hugo side tunes feel the appearance of the heyday. It's cassette tape. Just fantastic!
ウルグアイを代表するミュージシャンの二人であるHugo FattorusoとRuben Radaがタッグを組んだ91年の超傑作。おそらく制作にLitto Nebbiaが参加している事からアルゼンチン/Melopea側が主導で取り掛かられたのではないかと想像しています。音の方はウルグアイヤンルーツ”カンドンベ”がキーワードになっていながら両者の持ち味が惜しみもなく出ている楽曲の連続でHugo Fattorusoが手掛けた繊細でサイケデリック/メローなグルーヴ、Ruben Rada側では打楽器が特にフィーチャーされた構成。レコードのリリースがないのであまり知名度がでませんが、同年カセットのみのリリースの”Hugo Fattoruso, Los Pusilanimes - Que Suerte!”でもキレキレのHugoサイドの楽曲は特に全盛期の佇まいを感じます。カセットテープの音質がCDより正直オススメです。
