American artist Jim Nollman is a composer, writer, conceptual artist, and environmental activist. This album from prestigious label Folkways features number of recordings, not overdubbed in the studio but mostly improvised with 300 turkeys, 12 wolves, 20 killer whales, a flutist, and his own instruments, and is truly a real interspecies communication. It includes a performance entitled "Thanksgiving Dinner" with three flutists and turkeys, a six-night record of interspecies improvisation with Orca, and even songs with titles such as Orca Reggae and Heavy Metal (Guitar/Orca). Rare Folkways piece complete with booklet.
