First album in 1988 by woodwind player/jazz musician Javier Paxariño from Granada, southern Spain. Produced by Suso Saiz, with participation by percussionist Pedro Estevan, a member of Música Esporádica. It's a crossover sound that can't be contained only in jazz and ethnic music, in particular, A3 "¿Qué Hace Usted?" a rich ethnic groove with the addition of sparkling woodwinds, A4 "Danza De Lluvia" a pleasant organic crossover sound, and B2 "Zona Torrida" a wonderful blend of accented drumming and ethereal jazz, are amazing. Masterpiece.
スペイン南部グラナダ出身の木管楽器奏者/ジャズミュージシャンJavier Paxariñoによる88年のファーストアルバム。プロデュースはSuso Saizが手掛け、Música Esporádicaのメンバーでもある打楽器奏者Pedro Estevanなどが参加。全編に渡りジャズ、エスニックだけでは収まりきらないクロスオーヴァーサウンドを展開していて、特にキラキラとした木管楽器の音色も加わりながら濃厚なエスニックグルーヴを放つA3”¿Qué Hace Usted?”、心地よいクロスオーヴァー・サウンドのA4”Danza De Lluvia”、タイトなドラミングに霊気みなぎるB2”Zona Torrida”などどこに針を落としても極上のグルーヴが感じる事ができる名作。
