1989 release by Latin Breed, a Tejano group active in Texas since the late 1960s. The entire album contains the sophisticated funky and mellow Tex-Mex sound that tells the story of their long career. Among them, smooth Latin mellow "Mi Sueño" the funky hot vocals and comfortable performance of "I'm Just An Average Guy" and the gorgeous Latin sweet "Que Lastima" are sure to impress. A great album with a good balance of mellow and funky combonation.
テキサスの地にて60年代後半より活動するテハノグループLatin Breedによる89年作。長い活動歴を物語るファンキー＆メロウの洗練されたテックスメックスサウンドを全編に収録。中でもスムースに聞かせるラテン・メロウ”Mi Sueño”、ファンキーな熱いヴォーカルに心地よい演奏面で聴かせる”I'm Just An Average Guy”、ゴージャスなラテン・スウィート”Que Lastima”はグッときます。メロウとファンキーのバランス構成もいい塩梅の良作。
