Telectu by two Portuguese musicians, Jorge Lima Barreto, a key figure in the Portuguese scene, who recorded masterpieces such as "Encounters" with Saheb Sarbib and "Anar Band" with Rui Reininho in the late 1970s, and Vitor Rua, who has recorded with a number of artists and the leader of the Portuguese pop rock group GNR. They always released different musical styles for each work, this work was inspired by Halley's Comet, which returned in February 1986 (next 2061!). It's a magnificent work that gives a glimpse of their spiritual side by recording the drone electronics that are wandering in space in the whole volume.
70年後期にはRui ReininhoとのAnar BandやSaheb Sarbibとの共作"Encounters"など傑作を残すこのシーンのキーパーソンJorge Lima Barreto、数々のアーティストとのレコーディング歴、ポルトガルポップロックグループGNRのリーダー格であったVitor Ruaの二人によるTelectu。作品毎に趣向の違う作品をリリースする二人ですが、本作は1986年2月に回帰した（次回は2061年！）ハレー彗星にインスピレーションを得て制作された一枚で、宇宙を彷徨っているようなドローン・エレクトロニクスを全編に収録。彼らのスピリチュアルな一面が垣間見える壮大な作品になっています。
