1984 release album by Marielena Arizpe, a female flutist who has been active in the classical group Cuarteto Da Capo, and whose solo work is a more in-depth seek of Mexican contemporary music. This album also features music by composers who have made significant contributions to the Mexican scene. On A side, Mario Lavista, known for his improvisation group Quanta and his friendship with Manuel Enríquez. On B side, Gerhart Münch, a German who has made a significant mark in Mexico and Antonio Russek (ex Masos/Interface), a specialist in electronic sounds and a pioneer of sound art in Mexico. We think it’s extremely rare type of piece made in Mexico.
クラシカルグループCuarteto Da Capoを軸に、ソロではより深くメキシカン・コンテンポラリー・ミュージックを研究した作品を残す女流フルート奏者Marielena Arizpeによる84年作。本作でもメキシコのシーンに大きな功績を残した作曲家の楽曲を取り上げています。A面では即興演奏グループQuantaやManuel Enríquezとの仲でも知られるMario Lavista。B面ではドイツ人ながらメキシコで大きな足跡を残したGerhart Münch、そして電子音響のスペシャリストにしてメキシコにおけるサウンド・アートの先駆者Antonio Russek (ex Masos/Interface)の楽曲を電子音響を交えて披露。メキシコ産としては極めて珍しい志向の作品。稀少となっています。
