Jorge Reyes, one of Mexico's leading musicians, born in Michoacán, Mexico. He started playing traditional instruments at a young age, traveled around Europe, India, and Central Asia, and formed the Mexican progressive band Chac Mool, and then he has since released important works combining traditional music in both solo and collaboration. This 1994 work was produced by Steve Roach and is based on the Aztec tradition, entitled "Music For The Forgotten Spirits". It also uses a huge variety of instrument/homemade instrument/everyday item, such as the Mayan tunkul, Nahua wind flute, Tarahumaran drum, crystal, flower pot, turtle shell. Total 8 tracks including spiritual space "Obsidian Butterfly" inspired by the obsidian goddess, dope sound space "Seven Serpent" and deep "Suddenly We Were Out Of The Dream" whose sound stretches out as if it transcends time and space. Recorded at Steve Roach's studio in Arizona. This is a rare cassette version that lets you directly experience the deep sound space.
Suddenly We Were Out Of The Dream”など全8曲。
