Gerardo Bátiz, who is symbol of Mexican jazz, released this amazing jazz piece in 1980 under the name of the group Cristal. Bátiz did most of the composition, and La Nopalera connections such as Arturo Cipriano and Cecilia Engelhart also participated in this work, which can be said to be the first solo work. The album features jazz/fusion sound with an elegant and gentle electric piano at its core, among the our highlights are B3 "Chancero," which features the unique voice of Arturo Cipriano, and Afro-Cuban Jazz A4 "Guaribe Bis" with its pleasant steelpan sound. Of course, there are beautiful instrumentals and other tune. It's always great to hear.
