First solo work in 1989 by Arturo Cipriano, one of the leading musicians of the Mexican jazz scene with Eugenio Toussaint, Gerardo Batiz. Jorge Peña, Isabel Tercero, Orkesta Nopal-Era who have been active together since the 70's participate, and perform tunes full of organic sensations that fuse tradition and modernity. First of all, the highlights are the Latin fusion "Ruta Tangamanga-Tlatelulco" with dynamic sound of flute, percussion, female vocals and organic fusion "Magina" with male-female interplay. In addition, over seven minutes long jazz ensemble "Bereléle" and spiritual folklore "Mi Cuate" are included as well as tunes that give a sense of his musical vision. Amazing Mexican piece.
Eugenio Toussaint,Gerardo Batizらと共にメキシコジャズシーンを牽引した音楽家Arturo Ciprianoによる89年のソロ初作。Jorge Peña, Isabel Tercero, Orkesta Nopal-Eraなど70年代から活動を共にするメンバーが参加しながら有機感覚に溢れた楽曲を披露しています。まずフルート、パーカッション、女性ヴォーカル等が躍動的に奏でられたラテン・フュージョン”Ruta Tangamanga-Tlatelulco”、男女の掛け合いがいい味出てるオーガニック・フュージョン”Magina”の2曲がハイライト。他にも7分を超えるジャズ・アンサンブル”Bereléle”、霊性フォークロア”Mi Cuate"など氏の音楽観を感じさせるような楽曲もしっかりと入っています。伝統とモダンを感じさせてくれる素晴らしい作品です。
