The second of three albums produced by the composer Yoichiro Yoshikawa in 1987 for the documentary program "Earth's Journey" broadcasted on NHK after a wide range of activities such as music producer of contemporary dance group "Sankaijuku" or D-Day. Ethno-ambient sounds that show us the dreams of the spirits of the South Seas, as the title suggests. A magnificent piece of work that brings scenes of nature to life. Insert is also great.
舞踏グループ山海塾の音楽プロデューサーやD-Dayなど多岐に渡る活動を経て87年に作曲家 吉川洋一郎がNHKで放送されたドキュメンタリー番組「地球大紀行」のために制作した三枚のアルバムのうちの二枚目に当たる作品。タイトルの示すような南洋の精霊たちの夢を見せてくれるようなエスノ～アンビエントサウンドを収録。自然の情景が浮かびあってくる壮大な作品。インサートも素敵です。
