The first edition of the Sound Image Series vol. 1 in 1981 by Haruomi Hosono, Shigeru Suzuki, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tatsuro Yamashita, Masataka Matsutoya, Pecker, Hiroshi Sato, and many good musicians, with the theme of Micronesia, the Caribbean Sea, and the Aegean Sea. Each tunes that show Hosono's different approach, Shigeru Suzuki's funky disco "Passion Flower", Ryuichi Sakamoto's digital island reggae "Gonna Go I To Colony" are great but totally quality. Beautiful condition.
細野晴臣、鈴木茂、坂本龍一、山下達郎、松任谷正隆、ペッカー、佐藤博などがミクロネシア、カリブ海、エーゲ海等にテーマを求めて制作されたSound Image Seriesのvol. 1となる81年のファーストエディション。細野晴臣の他とは一味違ったアプローチが感じ取れる楽曲群、鈴木茂のファンキー・ディスコ"Passion Flower"、坂本龍一のデジタル・アイランド・レゲエ”Gonnna Go I To Colony”など聞き所ですが全体を通してクオリティ満載。
