The only work by Testpattern, a techno-pop unit made up of graphic designers Masao Hiruma and Fumio Ichimura. The album was produced by Haruomi Hosono, whose musicality was highly regarded from the demo stage. Although the techno image of the unit has been prevalent with tracks such as "Ryugu" on the compilation, the music is also amazing from the perspective of ambient/homemade music. You can also sense the comfort that is common to pop music. We feel that the style of this album is like a guide to "Water for Flowers" or "Monad Sightseeing Music Series" from Hosono's point of view. Rare promo beasutiful copy.

グラフィックデザイナーの比留間雅夫と市村文夫の2人によるテクノポップ・ユニットTestpatternの唯一作。デモ段階から非常にその音楽性を評価していたという細野晴臣が全面プロデュースを手掛けています。コンピレーションに収録された”Ryugu”などテクノ的イメージが先行している感もありますが、アンビエントやホームメイドミュージック的視点からも非常に優れた音楽性。ポップミュージックに通じる心地よさも感じ取れると思います。細野さん的にも後の”花に水”や”モナド観光音楽シリーズ”への道しるべになったような作風にも感じます。YENレーベル屈指の名作。稀少なプロモ超美品。
