Borneo Edition, part of the Mineral Sound Music Series created in the late 1990s by Takashi Kokubo, Japan's leading environmental musician and soundscape designer. Featuring 7 tracks produced with 1/f fluctuations, such as the sound of the sea, birdsong, the roar of the shore, and the rustle of wind. Highly recommended are “Dreamscape” depicting dawn through didjerido and birdsong, and “Tropical Fish Dance” set amidst coral reefs that evoke swimming through the ocean. The well-crafted arrangements are also highly commendable. Reissue version from 2001.

日本を代表する環境音楽家/音環境デザイナー小久保隆が90年代後半に手掛けたミネラル・サウンド・ミュージック・シリーズのひとつとなるグレートバリアリーフ編。海の音、鳥達の鳴き声、浜辺の潮騒、風の音などの1/f ゆらぎと共に作り上げられた全7曲を収録。特にディジリドゥと鳥達の鳴き声による朝を表現した”夢現”、海を泳いでいるような珊瑚礁を舞台にした”熱帯魚の群舞”は推薦。よく練られた展開も好感が持てます。
