Akio Niitsu, a talented musician who died at the young age of 49, disappeared from the music scene, leaving behind three original albums and MUJI BGM works during the nine years since his debut in 1978. This work is the last mini album in 1985. Along with the characteristic sentimental phrases, it creates a sparkling, fantasy-like sound of winter, recorded by one person using multiple recording techniques. Among them, the new age track "Angle II", which reminds of the shining earth, and "Kane Wo Hitotsu" as if a wave of sound rushed into a world somewhere, are amazing. Also recommend playing it at 33rpm +8.
78年のデヴューから活動期間約9年の間に独創的な三枚のアルバムと無印良品のBGMの作品を残し音楽界から身を消し49歳の若さで亡くなった才人新津章夫。本作は最後の作品となる85年のミニアルバム。こちらでも一人多重録音による特徴あるセンチメンタルなフレーズと共に冬のキラキラとしたファンタジー感あるサウンドを作り上げています。中でも光り輝く大地を想像させるニューエイジ・トラック”アングルⅡ”、音の波が押し寄せどこかの世界へ潜り込んだかのような感覚を覚える”鐘をひとつ”がおすすめ。ピッチを落とした33rpm +8プレイもハマります。
