The ocarina, a type of aerophonic instrument has a delicate tone. This is a collection of folk songs from around the world performed by ocarina performer Hisashi Kayama and a chamber orchestra. The performance, which makes use of its simple tones, feels almost like an ambient sound. A very interesting collection of performances.
