An outsider composer Henry Kawahara.. This work was released in 1992 by Mind Gallery AURA Presents, which was based in Akasaka. In keeping with the style of the Gallery, which was equipped with various relaxation devices, the album features deep drone meditative sounds, with awakening minimal percussion throughout. Two tracks in particular are outstanding: "Shinri-No-Atoni / Become Enlightened," which could be described as slow Balearic tribal, and "Deai / A Change," a hypnotic minimal abstract tribal track. This is one of Henry Kawahara's most popular works.
日本が生んだアウトサイダー作家ヘンリー川原。本作は赤坂にて営業していたマインドギャラリーAURAプレゼンツによる92年リリース作品。様々なリラクゼーション装置を配した店の趣向に合うように、覚醒的なミニマル・パーカッションに誘われるディープ・ドローン・メディテーティヴ・サウンドを全編で展開。特にスロウ・バレアリック・トライバルとでも言えそうな”Shinri-No-Atoni / Become Enlightened”、催眠的なミニマル・アブストラクト・トライバル”Deai / A Change”の2曲が素晴らしい。ヘンリー川原作品でも特に支持を得ている作品のひとつです。
