An outsider writer Henry Kawahara. Among his many works, he left behind "enDOLPHIN," a work about dolphins in 1993, while his previous work focused mainly on "voice" this work focuses on "consciousness". A deep world that appeals to the consciousness spreads through the material that uses the actual recording of the pattern of echolocation, which emits sound and ultrasonic waves and learns the distance, direction, size, etc. of the object by its echo. Especially, T5 "Dance With Dolphin" is a magical experience, as if you are swimming with the sound of dolphins.
日本が生んだアウトサイダー作家ヘンリー川原。数ある作品群の中で93年にもイルカを題材にした”enDOLPHIN”を残していますが、前作が「声」を主にした作品でしたが今作では「意識」に焦点が当てられています。音や超音波を発しその反響によって物体の距離・方向・大きさなどを知るエコロケーションの模様を実地録音した素材を全編に使用したディープな深世界を構築しています。とりわけT5の”Dance With Dolphin”はイルカの声と共に遊泳してるような不思議な感覚に包まれます。
