A smooth jazz/fusion masterpiece created by three sound creators, Masataka Matsutoya, Haruomi Hosono, and Takahiko Ishikawa, with the motif of the Aegean Sea as the title suggests. The entire album are instrumental tunes includes "Reggae Aege Woman" a techno-pop take on Hosono's shimmering middle-eastern texture, "Bride of Mykonos" a Balearic fusion-style tune also by Hosono and Takahiko Ishikawa's breezin' "Day Break". Hope to visit there at least once.

タイトル通りのエーゲ海をモチーフにサウンド・クリエイタ―松任谷正隆、細野晴臣、石川鷹彦の三人が手掛けたスムースジャズ/フュージョン名作。細野さんらしい煌めくミドルイーストな質感をテクノポップ風に表現した様な"レゲ・エーゲ・ウーマン"、同じく細野作のバレアリック・フュージョン風”ミコノスの花嫁”、石川鷹彦作のブリージンな”デイ・ブレイク”などを筆頭にインスト曲を中心に収録。一度は行ってみたいものですね。
