The Land Of Yrx, unclassifiable unit of David Gate and Robert Andrews from Shrewsbury, England. This is a cassette release of live recording from 1985, released on Auricle, the successor to Dark Star, an important label that has supported many unknown underground artists. The band consists of two members plus five others on nose flute, flute, and guitar parts. Both sides of the performance are directly influenced by Krautrock and psychedelic music and psychedelic kraut-electronics of the second half of side A and the more electronically-driven first half of side B are particularly outstanding. Imagine the audience being intoxicated. It's the later version in a clam case.
英中部シュルーズベリー出身のDavid GateとRobert AndrewsによるユニットThe Land Of Yrx。本作は多くの無名のアーティストを支持してきた重要レーベルDark Starの後継Auricleから発表された85年のライブレコーディングカセット作品。二人の他に鼻笛、フルート、ギターを加えた編成。クラウトロックやサイケデリックの影響をダイレクトに感じさせるパフォーマンスを両面で収録。A面後半部のサイケデリックに彩られたクラウト・エレクトロニクスとB面前半部の電子使いがより濃く演出されたパートは特に秀逸。こんなのライブで聞いたりしたら、、オーディエンスが陶酔してる画が浮かびます。クラムケースに入った後発版です。
