Terry Oldfield, a British new age composer/multi instrumentalist, has released numerous solo works and pieces for the media. This is one of his representative works, an early piece from 1986. Both sides contain a long track that depicts a mystical soundscape, combining synths, flutes, the cries of living creatures, and the sounds of waves. The contrast with the floating, moraine-like synths is soothing. Cassette version.
現在までソロ作やメディアの為の作品等多くのリリースを残している英人ニューエイジ作家/マルチ奏者Terry Oldfield。本作は彼の代表作のひとつでもある86年の初期作品。シンセ、フルート、生物たちの鳴き声、波の音などを組み合わせた神秘的なサウンドスケープを描く長尺曲を両面に収録。浮遊するようにモラレ状のシンセとのコントラストが心地よいです。カセット版。
