Still mystery, this 1985 album by keyboardist Sandro Zane was produced in Venice, Italy. He seems to have been active in garage bands since the 60's, and this album is full of experimental and ambitious compositions, just like a library piece, without any trace of his former activities. The highlight of the album is "Birds Of Fire" a psychedelic, swirling track with trippy synths, various percussion instruments, rhythm boxes, etc., which has a strong impact, but other tracks are also quality, filled with Balearic, Cosmic, Industrial, Ambient elements. In particular, Balearic/ambient feel “Another Time Another World” mysterious atmosphere of metallic synth and percussion “Nobody Land”, cosmic experimental style of “Empty Sky” with its swirling electronic sounds, are our favorite. The handmade special letter-shaped sleeve and this impressive artwork are also irresistible. Finally back in stock.
イタリア・ヴェニスで制作された鍵盤奏者Sandro Zaneによる未だミステリアスに満ちた85年作。60年代よりガレージバンドなどで活動していた人物の様で、本作ではそのような面影を全く感じさせないライブラリー作品のように実験感覚に富んだ意欲的な楽曲が並びます。ハイライトとなるトリッピーなシンセ、多彩な打楽器、リズムボックス等で構成されたサイケデリックに渦巻くように展開していく”Birds Of Fire”がインパクト強いですが、バレアリック、コズミック、インダストリアル、アンビエント要素が詰められた他の楽曲も高品位。バレアリック/アンビエント感覚の”Another Time Another World”、ミステリアスな雰囲気漂うメタリックなシンセとパーカッションによる”Nobody Land”、電子音渦巻くコズミック・エクスペリメンタル調”Empty Sky”など全曲間違いないです。お手製のレター型特殊スリーヴとこのアートワークもたまりません。ようやく再入荷できました。
