After two solo singles, guitarist Osamu Kataoka also played in the new wave/punk band The Sludge. The '83 single also features experimental obscure synth funk, and this '82 single also features the melancholic new wave track "Samuiodenwasenakakara" on side A, the synth-filled rock track "Ranri-☆You" on side B, and the synth ballad "Rachiakazunoumi" on side B. This one is also our recommended for its unique use of synths.
2枚のソロ作品を残した後はニューウェーブ/パンクバンドThe Sludgeでも活動するギタリスト片岡理。83年作でも実験的なオブスキュア・シンセ・ファンクを聞かせていますが、この82年作でも哀愁系のニューウェーヴトラック”寒いおでんは背中から”をA面、シンセが広がるロックテイスト”らんりー☆You”、シンセバラード”埒開かずの海”をB面に収録。シンセ使いが独特で本作もオススメします。
