7inch single released by percussionist Michel Coffi on his own label after activing as the jazz group Texture Sextet, which also included Japanese trumpet player Itaru Oki, who was active in France for many years. A side is the Afro electro-style "Jungalina" which has passed post-free and forms a tribal groove with repeated hits of percussion, and B side is synth-pop style "Keep Kool Koko!" has a humorous atmosphere with a children's chorus. Both have a quirky and interesting sound. The handmade jackets are also nice.
長年フランスで活動した日本人トランペット奏者 沖至も参加したジャズグループTexture Sextetでの活動を経て、打楽器奏者Michel Coffiが自主レーベルよりリリースした7インチ盤。ポストフリーを通過した打楽器が乱れながらトライバルグルーヴを形成するアフロエレクトロばりな”Jungalina”をA面、子供のコーラスが入りながらユーモアな空気感に包まれたシンセ・ポップ調”Keep Kool Koko!!”をB面に収録。どちらもクセありの面白い音。お手製のジャケットもなんだかいい塩梅。
