The performing arts company “Pappa TARAHUMARA” has been performing around the world for 30 years, involving dance, theater, art, and music, until its dissolution in 2012. This work is a collection of sound source from "Ship In A View" that inspired by the seaside towns of the 1960s, the landscape in the original state of director/representative Hiroshi Koike, which was first performed in 1997. Composer Masahiro Sugaya, who has left a full lineup of master pieces for the company, is also in charge of this work. He has created a profound and nostalgic musical vision that incorporates ethno, tribal, ambient, and avant-garde elements, evoking the real emotions and human relationships that abound in everyday life. Simply wonderful. It appears to be a valuable piece that was distributed only to those involved.

2012年の解散まで30年に渡りダンス、演劇、美術、音楽を巻き込み世界中で公演を行ってきたパフォーミング・アーツ・カンパニー『パパ・タラフマラ』。本作は97年に初公演が行われた演出家/代表小池博史の原風景である60年代の海辺の町をモチーフとした作品「船を見る」の音源集。こちらでも楽団に傑作揃いの作品を残した作曲家菅谷昌弘が音楽を担当。日常に溢れるリアルな感情や人間模様を描いた内容を意識させる、エスノ、トライバル、アンビエント、コンテンポラリー、前衛等が内包された深遠かつノスタルジックな音像を完成させています。素晴らしいの一言。関係者のみに配られたような体裁の貴重な作品と思われます。
