1990 release album titled "Island of Passion and Song" was produced on the island of Reunion, east of Madagascar. The album is almost entirely instrumental, as if it were a library piece by Marco Payet, a chanson singer who has been releasing his music since the 70's features exhilarating fusion, Balearic, and new age tracks with a pleasant breeze blowing from start to finish, just like the jacket. Includes pleasant tune A6 "Canne À Sucre" with guitar melody and the watery sound, new age feel fusion A7 "Soleil Couchant", flowing synth fusion A9 "Pêcheur 4 Sous", and mellow fusion B1”Coulée Volcanique”.
マダガスカル島東に浮かぶフランス領レユニオン島にて制作された”情熱と歌の島”と題された90年の作品。70年代からリリース歴を持つシャンソン歌手Marco Payetが手掛けたまるでライブラリー作品のようなほとんどが全編インスト曲の構成。ギターの旋律と水の音のようなサウンドが交差する心地よいA6”Canne À Sucre”、ニューエイジ調のA7”Soleil Couchant”、流れるような展開のシンセ・フュージョンA9”Pêcheur 4 Sous”、メロー・フュージョンB1”Coulée Volcanique”を筆頭に、ジャケットのように気持ちいい風が吹くような爽快なフュージョン～バレアリック～ニューエイジチューンを全編に収録。この夏のお供に。いつか行ってみたいものです。
