Self-released album from 1976 features a concert with electone player Kaisaku Ashizawa and an Electric Orchestra. Along with cover songs of Bacharach and Bossa Nova, 7 minutes long spacey electric jazz "Fly In A Circle", and Ashizawa original "At the End of the Universe", which develops into jazz funk inspired by space, are included. The two tracks are excellent. In addition to the quality of the music, it is a hidden piece where you can feel the power of a big band and solid performance.
エレクトーン奏者 芦沢魁作とオーケストラ編成によるコンサートの模様を収録した76年の自主制作盤。バカラックやボサノヴァのカバー曲と共に収録されたスペーシーな7分を超えるエレクトリック・ジャズ”Fly In A Circle”と宇宙をイメージしたジャズファンクへと展開していく壮大な”宇宙の果てに”のオリジナルの2曲が秀逸。楽曲のクオリティに加え、ビッグバンドの迫力と確かな演奏力を感じて頂けるレアグルーブ的視点でも興味深い一枚です。
