1988 CD work by K2, a unit formed by Shima Ken, a keyboard player with a long career dating back to the 1970s, and Kan Ogasawara, a composer also known as Utollo Teshikai, and released from Misawa Homes, a housing manufacturer that has also released works by Hiroshi Yoshimura and Yutaka Hirose. As a work that blends into the environment called “interior music”, K2 creates a meditative, romantic, and attractive modern classical sound with piano as the main instrument. You will become immersed as you listen to each and every note of the keyboard, as if listening to Debussy or Satie. Wonderful piece.

吉村弘や広瀬豊もリリースしてきた住宅メーカーミサワホームから70年代より長いキャリアを持つ鍵盤奏者島健と手使海ユトロ名義でも知られる作曲家小笠原寛によるユニットK2による88年のCD作品。インテリアの音楽と呼ばれる環境に溶け込む作品としてピアノをメインにした瞑想的でロマンティックな魅力的なモダンクラシカルサウンドを作り上げています。ドビュッシーやサティを聞くように味わい深い鍵盤の一音一音に耳を傾けながら没入していきます。この二人ならではの素晴らしい作品になっています。
