From first record in 1960, Jorge López Ruiz has been a living witness to Argentina jazz, and until his regrettable death in 2018, he has been creating amazing works that can be called legendary. This work was created for a theatrical production directed by dancer/choreographer Nora Codina, released on Melopea in 1991. The entire piece features a thrilling hybrid jazz sound that reveals a more avant-garde side, including "El Ensueño" full of elegance and ambience, psychedelic, labyrinthine fusion "Diálogo" that also has a technically striking aspect, and "Danza de la Travesuras", which gives off a thrilling sound like a mass of grooves. Tptal 9 tracks. An impressive groove that you can't stop listening to. Soak. A cassette-only work.
アルゼンチンジャズ聡明期から亡くなる2018年までまさに生きる証人として伝説的とさえ言える作品群を発表し続けてきたJorge López Ruiz。本作は91年にMelopeaよりリリースされたダンサー/振付師Nora Codina演出の劇画の為に制作された作品。より前衛的な側面が垣間見えるようなスリリングなハイブリッドジャズサウンドを全編に収録。気品とアンビエンスに満ちた”El Ensueño”、テクニック面も際立つサイケデリックな迷宮的フュージョン”Diálogo”、グルーヴの塊のようなスリリングなサウンドを放つ”Danza de la Travesuras”を筆頭にした全9曲。聞き入ってしまうもの凄いグルーヴ。浸る。知る人ぞ知るカセットオンリー作品。
