Originally cassette-only release from 1991 by Jorge Galemire, one of Uruguay's leading artists. This work also showcases a crossover sound that combines sophisticated mood, nostalgia, ethnic music using traditional instruments such as candombe, muruga, and also get the impression that more emphasis is placed on the songs. Contains 13 tracks, including early classics such as "Y Todo Se Fue" and "Ícaro", as well as original songs exclusive to this album. The whole album is excellent, though, especially title track "Casa En El Desierto" is so touching. Hugo Fattoruso, Hugo Jasa, Estela Magnone, Gustavo Etchenique, Miguel Romano, Liese Lange and others are participating. Released on the Perro Andaluz label, which maintains an independent spirit that makes every work hard to find.
