The only album in 1988 by Implosion, a DIY unit of guitarist Gianni Rosati and keyboardist Stefano Focacci, who were heavily influenced by the West Coast psychedelic music and Canterbury progressive rock scene of the early 1970s. They recorded everything themselves using home recording equipment. Contains 5 tracks with new wave, chillout, and Balearic elements that give a glimpse of a jamming feeling. It begins with the highlight, the lo-fi psychedelic dreamy "Green Dawn", followed “6000 Miles From Home” flows mellowly over the rhythm of drum machine and percussion, and proto-electro "Watch Your Step" on A side. The B-side includes the chill wave epic "Colors Of The Mind'', which consists of 9 parts, and the fuzzy, psychedelic downtempo-like "End Of The Contest". The entire album is full of addictive sounds. The vocals are by Ugo Burroni, who also performs with the group Lightshine. Original edition limited to 500 copies.
70年代初期の西海岸サイケデリック音楽とカンタベリー・プログレッシブ・ロック・シーンに多大な影響を受けたという、ギター奏者Gianni Rosatiと鍵盤奏者Stefano Focacciの二人によるDIYユニットImplosionによる88年の唯一作。録音はホーム・レコーディング機材を使い全て自分たちで行ったようです。ニューウェーブ、チルアウト、バレアリックな要素も加味されジャムするような感覚も覗かせる長尺の5曲を収録。まずハイライトのLo-fi感覚のサイケデリック・ドリーミー”Green Dawn”にはじまり、ドラムマシーンとパーカッションのリズムの上でメロウに流れていく”6000 Miles From Home”、プロト・エレクトロ的”Watch Your Step”のA面。9つのパートで構成されたチル・ウェーヴ大曲”Colors Of The Mind”、ファズでサイケなダウンテンポ調”End Of The Contest”をB面。全編魅惑的なサウンドに満ち満ちています。ヴォーカルはLightshineなるグループでも共演しているUgo Burroniが務めています。500枚限定のオリジナル盤です。
