A leading Argentine trumpeter and composer Gustavo Bergalli who has performed with his own quintet, as well as with Jorge López Ruiz, Rodolfo Alchourron, Alberto Favero, Litto Nebbia, among others. Since 1975, he has moved to Sweden, where he has also made a significant impact, performing with numerous top jazz musicians. This album, recorded with original quintet members in Buenos Aires in 1989 and released by Melopea, features total 6 tracks that explore the fusion of improvisation and soundscape, including highlight numbers "Corrientes", "Volviendo", "Nuevo Intento" featuring Gustavo Toker and Ruben Rada. Still unknown Melopea piece. Cassette version.
自らのクインテットの他Jorge López Ruiz, Rodolfo Alchourron, Alberto Favero, Litto Nebbia等の作品に参加してきたアルゼンチンを代表するトランペット奏者/作曲家Gustavo Bergalli。75年以降はスウェーデンに身を置きその地でも数々のトップジャズミュージシャンと共演し大きな功績を残している。本作はMelopeaからリリースされた89年のブエノスアイレス録音作品。オリジナルのクインテットのメンバーが参加しながらGustavo Tokerのバンドネオンが加わり緩急をつけてグルーヴしていく”Corrientes”、しなやかにスウィングする”Volviendo”、密度高めのRuben Radaが参加したハイライト”Nuevo Intento”含む即興とサウンドスケープの融合を試みた全6曲。まだまだ知られていない素晴らしい作品です。カセット版での入荷。
