Deux Filles is bedroom electric duo by two British men, Simon Fisher Turner and Colin Lloyd-Tucker, who are set as a fictional French sister unit. It deepens from the first album, which delicately chronicled the maiden's fluctuating inner landscapes, plunging further into a paranoid, wandering soundscape that feels like peering into the grotesquely distorted darkness lurking within. The sound has grown even more profound. This original pressing is becoming more valuable.
架空のフランス姉妹ユニットという設定のSimon Fisher TurnerとColin Lloyd-Tuckerの二人の英国人による宅録音響デュオDeux Filles。この2ndでも1stに引き続き陰鬱なフランス映画でも見ているようにピアノやギター、おもちゃのオルゴール、囁く声などが挿入される乙女の心模様を覗き見るような音響サウンドスケープを全編で収録。ラストのタイトルトラックは北アフリカで姿を消したという(設定?)がピンと来るようなアフリカ系民族楽器なども使われています。年々貴重となっているオリジナル盤。
