A pioneer of American experimental music, David Rosenboom has been active since the 1960s in a wide variety of fields, including performance art, cross-cultural collaboration, multimedia and technology, generative algorithmic systems, arts and sciences research and philosophy, more and more, and has taught at many universities and conservatories over the years. This is a about 45-minute double-sided vinyl record of an electric solo concert held at the Music Gallery in Toronto in 1977, making full use of wave analysis, sound synthesis, brain signals, touch sensors, and small acoustic sources. It's also amazing that even though pulses, strange electronic sounds, brain wave signals, noises, etc. are rushing in one after another, it still gives you a sense of the overall story. Play it loud.
